Shopping Day

Every year, a few good friends and I do all of our holiday shopping the weekend before Black Friday. It's perfect because the stores aren't crowded yet and there are some pretty good deals going on... one of the stores we went to is of course one of my favorites. When I asked an employee if I could take  a few pictures to see if I wanted to put the items in my house, she shrugged blankly and said "Sure, no problem." -not that I would have let that stop me any way...

Lamps? Loved the red shaded one.

That little, green tree reminded me of something from Who-ville from The Grinch who Stole Christmas.

Lots of glitzy holiday items.

And you know how you have a drink or two at dinner and then it gets funny to make all of the larger stand up items look at Christmas cards? I can't believe we didn't get kicked out.

LOVED the big silver wreath.

This was cool. Loved this piece, gorgeous.

And my dear friend Susanne, who was brave enough ( after a few drinks) to pose with the man of the season and actually said in front of witnesses that I could put it on my blog. :)
Yes, you did.

I love to laugh out laugh at 6:30 in the morning and I must tell you I did when I saw your "friends and children" standing there looking at Christmas cards. I have to know - did you put them back or are they still looking?

Too funny.

This reminds me so much of The Christmas Tree Shoppe here in Maine. I don't dare go in there any more because I can't come out spending under $100!

Too funny - making the stand up items look at Christmas cards. I'm still giggling!

Congrats on your saucy blog!
