boo hoo hoo

I just found out Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion and Country Home are closing up shop... Two of my favorite magazine's.. oh, please, please, please say it ain't so.. but(*sigh*) it's true...

  6. Oh that's a shame. I really liked Home Companion but had stopped receiving it a couple of years ago. I have some of the early early issues when they still used the plain white area at the top.

    Didn't know about Country Home. I just canceled that one, too. I decided I was looking at blogs much more than I was the magazines!

  7. This is like the 5th time I read this this morning... and it makes me sad every time. lol I subscribe to Country Home and my subscription doesn't "end" until 2011! I also get Country Living...I'm supposed to pay for the new year but I'm worried if they'll end the second I pay for my subscription!

  14. I am so sad to hear all of these these magazines going away. I cried when I got my Cottage Living card last week. I was holding out hope for Mary Englebright and now Country Home. What am I going to do..I live for my magazines.
