Counter Clock Wise

A stitch in time saves nine....I have to be honest; I do not know what the H-E-Double hockey sticks that means.  I did, however, buy  eight antique clock faces off of Ebay. I was planning on using them in projects, but after I received them, I knew I just had to keep them for myself.

Just looking at the age and patina gets me excited. These are old and very interesting.

The intricate carving on the gold one is incredible, and it still has it's glass.

I decided to hang them as is in my living room,  and the best part is, there is already a hole in the middle to hang them on.

I was going to so an off-set, abstract pattern, but I was afraid something more abstract would be a little too Salvador Dali.

I put  a few extra in a vignette on my console table. I think they just add so much interest!  Even Mr. At Home thought they were cool. I am now hooked and even though I have passed these up before a the Flea's, they are now in my line of sight!

What a cool addition to your decor. Very nostalgic chic, if there is such a term. ;-Þ

I adore the little bird on the table.

Shock! Horror! You don't sound like a sewer or a mender.LOL The saying means to repair while the job is little or it will get much bigger. It also means buying eight clock faces so you be left wondering why on earth you didn't. ;-))

Jealous girl. Right. Here.

I've been searching the vintage clock faces on Ebay for months, but as soon as a find a lot I like, the price skyrockets just before bidding closes. So sad. I've been dying to find a few interesting ones to include a shelf gallery vignette above my newly refinished buffet.

I'll just have to keep searching!

Yours are fabulous! I love some of the designs!

What a great collection. They look great both on the wall and the vignette.

I also have to comment on your previous post. The petite paintings are incredible. I love the variety you offer.

Have a happy day,

Kris
