I have a set of chairs I have been whittling away with on various projects...
There were a set of 6 and they needed some TLC. They were a great find for $65.00 for the set.
I've been able to use them when I've needed a chair for the odd project like this vanity.I am sure you've seen these kind, they normally have a mirror attached. The stool was broken so I thought they would make a great couple and could go off to my booth together.
But what do you get when you match up a set, and then stage it for a photo shoot?
True love!
Err....I was supposed to take this to the booth ...
But, I decided to keep it for myself. Since it's not a full size desk, it's the perfect size for a little private writing corner in my living room. The kids can do home work or draw and not take up space at the kitchen table. Or maybe I will do all of my correspondence there, or get my Etsy orders together... ;)
Someday something I paint will make it to the booth to sell.
Wouldn't a red lamp shade look better there? Or I could hang a chandelier? Or a candelier?
This is becoming a baaaaaaad habit....
:) Jen

That set fits perfectly into that little nook. I'd have kept it too. It looks great in black.
ReplyDeleteThriftiness and creativity are never bad habits! Keep it up! That corner is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I have a little addiction to chairs! You just can never have enough...and like you did...they come in handy for unfinished places.
ReplyDeletei agree for the red shade. that fabric on the chair is beautiful!!! where's that from...if you don't mind me asking!
ReplyDeleteI agree-yes on the red lamp shade. It is good that you kept it for yourself. I find that I always sell everything and rarely keep anything for myself. Every now and then you have to say, "I deserve this!"
ReplyDeleteJen! Looking great! You always do wonderful things with your furniture. Hugs! Vanessa
ReplyDeleteThe set looks lovely. I agree, a red lampshade would really put a pop of color.
