The queen of the putty-knife

The last few days, spackle has been my last name. You never realize how many thing you have hanging on a  wall until you have to fill all of those little nail holes. The painting itself isn't  the hard work,
it's the picking the color where on the paint strips they look different, but they all look the same on the wall,
spackling,
and moving stuff,
and saying goodbye to old friends..
and getting ready for a breath of fresh air...

  1. you are a goddess! i'm so intimidated by spackle. i have these little places in my house where the movers dinged the walls getting stuff in and up the stairs - not it looks like silver is peeking through? i have no idea how to fix it.

  4. I know it must have been hard painting over an old friend that still looked good. Can't wait to see the end result. Debbie

  9. Saying goodbye to an old friend can be so hard to do, but the promise of a new found love is exciting.
Can't wait to see what you do to the place.

  14. WOW! I wish I could have carved your "old friend" out of the wall, but that would've just given you more to spackle. :-)
