I've gotten quite a few requests on how I did the little blue, glazed table in my hall. Ask and ye shall receive! I 'll to do a tutorial about it after the weekend and show you how another reader's before and after project turned out.
But I was wondering, do you have any other questions about painting furniture? Budget decorating? Running your own booth? Running an Etsy store? Why I always change stuff in my house?Ask away, and in another post, I'd love to answer!

P.S. Get ready! I'll host another make over party on the 25th of March! This can be an anything make over! Furniture, trash to treasure.. anything.. an entire room!

I'm excited about the next make-over day. Linking to you brought me lots of guests. It sure was fun seeing a couple of hundred people from all over the world drop over from your place to mine. Thanks for sharing your readers with us!

I am looking forward to your tutorial. Love the blue table. I am also excited about the next makeover day. Wanted to participate last time, but life got in the way.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun, I plan to stop by.
ReplyDeleteLove the little blue table :}

I want to know how to do everything! I have yet to attempt to paint furniture but am dying to try! I love the oval mirror in the picture! I'm looking for a round or oval frame to put on a builder's grade square mirror in my half bath. You always have what I want!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh...I love that little blue table so very much.

I'm anxious for the tutorial AND the make-over party. I'll be there with "bells on!"
ReplyDeleteoh, good, tutorials are fun.....and I have a question about Etsy......is it just for handmade products and about how much time do you spend on it? Thanks!

Love that color!

I have a coffee table I "rescued" and would love to refinish it. I believe the top is veneer, however. What I would like to do is stain it darker but still have the wood pattern show through. How do I do that?
ReplyDeleteLove your how-to's on rehabing everything! I was up the other night until 3am on a project so I understand your need to paint & refurbish pretty old things!LOL! :) chris
ReplyDeleteAnother party! *woot-woot* Thanks for the early heads up...I appreciate it! I'm already eyeing things I can redo! lol
ReplyDeleteYou do such a great job with your paint makeovers, Jen!
ReplyDeleteI do have a question - would you ever paint over an oak bed? It's not a pretty color of oak at all. I was thinking of painting it darker, but wondered if it would work or not. Have a great weekend!
I have people roll their eyes at me all the time because I just have to redecorate, reorganize, repaint, re - something all the time. :) Glad to know there are other people like me, that I'm not the only weird one. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the tutorial and the make-over party.
Thank you! Can't wait to see your tutorial. I just love that little blue table.
ReplyDeleteI'm redoing my kitchen table and chairs. It's white and pine currently. I want to stain the top and chair seats a darker stain. And then do a cream color with brown glaze on the legs and backs. Any suggestions? Mostly I need to know about the finish. Varnish, wax, polyurethane? Gloss, satin? I have no idea. I want it to last with all the beating up it's going to get in the kitchen.
Thanks in advance!
I love the budget decorating tips! So please, keep them coming! I'd also love to hear how to start up a shop in Esty (my goal for this year) and also setting up a booth. Or how about how to find craft fairs and flea markets in my area?
