The Fabulous Flea

My good friend, Kasey, and I went to the local flea market on Saturday and what a beautiful day!  I also got to meet this wonderful blogger who we happened to run into there...of course, I suffered from a blogger's worst nightmare! I forgot my camera! Thank goodness Kasey had brought her's, so you can pop over by her to see a bit more. But I can share with you some of my "finds".

A vintage tablecloth
Some old printing blocks from a factory. Pretty cool.
And these great letter press blocks and metal stamp. There is a guy there who has boxes and boxes and he's now my buddy after  a little bargaining.. if you go tell him Jen sent ya.. ,
I found a set of these bunnies and haven't decided if I am going to keep them. I can't decide if they are cool or freakishly ugly.
A vintage table runner.

And my last great find, an awesome $8 wire basket that I truly thought was going to hold all of my Romantic Homes magazines or some cool table display... nope. shoes.
We had  a blast. I am looking forward to spending more time together with these ladies as we are all going to the Farm Chicks show. Are any of you going?
Jen

I have to say...in the bottom photo...I wasn't sure what you bought at first and I was like, "OMGoodness, please don't tell me she bought the shoes", LOL! It's late and time for bed I guess, LOL. The shoe basket is a great find. ;)

  6. You won't believe this, I have that same bunny. Mine has been sprayed a creamy white. He never did have any color on him except for brown. I must say mine isn't as, hum, how to say it? Ugly? Just kidding. Love your blog.

  20. I love your new shoe basket! I've learned that it's pointless to keep kids shoes lined up in neat rows...just throw them in a basket! ;-)

  21. First of all, your finds a fantastic. Were you out here at the Kane Flea? I was there too this past month.

Second, of course you are friends with the owner of Lola B's. I stopped in there last fall for the first time and totally fell in love. I remember thinking that I needed to be friends with the owner because her shop was so fab. Love it!!
