It says it all....

I've always wondered how well my children know me and what they say to other's about what goes on at home.I am sure teachers get an earful. During  a Mother's Day breakfast in bed of some very precious, but very mangled toast and jelly and a bowl of melon (that they mostly ate while sitting next to me.), I opened all of those fabulous little handmade cards and letters garnished with tiny hand prints and bold brush strokes. One of the things I received that was in a card was a page entitled "My Mom" that the teachers filled out for the pre-schoolers.

I guess she knows me pretty well.. Though mine wasn't too bad. It's better than what was written on some of the other Mom's paper's, such as She likes to.. "Buy stuff on-line a lot."
or "E-mail all of the time.". "Yell."
I'd say I got of pretty easy.

  6. You got a great report! My little 'G' made one and I now have to right a note to the teacher ... as I was going down the list I was feeling relief nothing to embarrassing until the very last question... If you could change one thing about your mom what would it be? {First of all what the heck was the teacher thinking? hee hee my sweet daughers response was, "sometimes she screams at me." Oh man! my hubby laughed his head off...

  8. Jen, the kids know us well! When my daughter was 6, she invited a friend to come after school to play and before opening the front door I heard she saying:
"I just want to tell you that we are not poor, my house looks this way because my mom likes chippy, old stuff!!!" LOL
