Change is good.

I found these fabulous knobs at Hobby Lobby, who I have to say is starting to rival Anthropologie for "awesome knobs."
The best part of knobs is that they are so easy to change if I get tired of them or I decide they really are ugly.
Knobs are always a great detail and a good risk.
Especially at $3 a piece on sale.
I loved these black and white bull's eyes.
With going lighter and brighter and more natural, This cabinet I made over last year has just been too dark and stuffy and didn't fit any more.

Sometimes change is good.

  1. I am digging their knobs also. Just switched some oil rubbed bronze ones out for the big, gaudy crystal ones from Hobby Lobby!! Love it!!

  7. Beautiful transformation! Both before and after! I've been thinking about knobs today...I saw some adorable faceted pale-blue glass ones that would look cute on JK's dresser...but I can't decide if I should get them. Maybe I should worry about finishing the painting before I think about knobs!

  15. I think the knobs are the bees knees. Youc an find some really great stuff in Hobby Lobby and their sales are pretty awesome if one has some imagination.

I've been shopping there for years. Most recently finding some items from their garden section that will fit just fine inside the house for 80% off. A bit of paint and some non traditional applications of items and you've got cheap and fun decor...I will reveal two of my finds later.

(You've got a fun blog BTW, I read it every morning.)

  19. Love the "re-do"! And yep, HobLob is great for knobs. LOL. I've grabbed some great red ones and some fun, funky pink ones. I think I'm going to use those on a cake dome.

  20. Nicely done! And I love a good Anthopologie knob. It looks like we agree that garage sales and flea markets are the perfect way to find accessories!
Thanks for visiting my little blog! I am enjoying yours very much!
