That sounds like soooooo much fun!!!!!!!! Is that hail on the ground? I have let them outside after hail storms to kick around the piles of white stuff. Also if you never let them out...they , and you, would go nuts!!!!
I don't think it is bad parenting, but if it is then I've out done you in the 'bad parent' category. Today, I let my kids do the same, only mine were still wearing their pajamas!! :) So, maybe I'm a bad parent...and a hillbilly?
I really enjoy your blog. Thanks for all of the great, creative ideas you post.
We've gotten tons of rain the past month so it Works for Me. I've been known to send the boys out (when they were little) to get wet, then back to the door for shampoo, then back out to rinse.
Kasey...we were born to mothers who smoked and drank!
Isn't rain nature's version of the sprinkler? And what self-respecting mom can deny her precious little ones the joy of playing in the sprinkler on a summer day?
It's been raining here for the past three days, and my daughter (age two!) has been wanting to go for a walk in the rain. She also wants to go swim in her little pool in the rain.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I read and appreciate every single one! Please leave an e-mail or contact if you have a question, otherwise I have no way to answer you!
No, it's fine. I've forgotten about parenting when they are that age as mine are 30 and 27. !!!

You are so funny! Don't kids LIKE playing in the rain? That's what I'm going with. :-)
ReplyDeleteThey must have had a blast in the rain. I let my son do it one day and he still talks about how much fun he had jumping in the puddles.

ReplyDeleteIt's only bad parenting if you lock the door behind them!
