When I redid our eat-in area, the area behind the bench was always lacking something. I wanted board and batten or bead board, but that would involve changing out molding and everything else.. what was a girl to do?
When I came across this product on Rhoda's blog, I was overjoyed and had to try it for myself... it's beadboard wallpaper. I applied it, added wood trim, painted it and...
Voila!
The perfect solution to the perfect space! I'm hooked on it!

Looks like the real thing! Great solution with out having to tear out the baseboard molding. Love the mirror too!

ReplyDeleteI saw this on Rhoda's blog and have been considering it for cabinet door inserts. I was going to use real bead board on my entry walls. Now that I have seen it on your wall, the heck with the real thing. Looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING!!! I thought it was real beadboard. I too LOVE beadboard. If you visit my Blog and click on "MY HOME" you'll see my entire kitchen is beadboard. It adds an elegance yet a homey, comfort feeling too. It's the perfect accent and goves a cozy cottage feel.

I loved your look so much that today I went and priced various beadboards myself and decided on using the wallpaper type. We have the exact same milkglass bowl to. LOL-Great taste:)

I love beadboard! I'm in the process of covering every wall in my house with it, but with beadply, not the wallpaper. My walls are just way to wonky to put paper onto. I love the way yours turned out, you did a great job!
