Not time for me yet! My kids don't go back until Sept. 9th. I would *die* if I found my baby colored on with a marker like that! hahaha I wonder whose kid that *IS*! Eek!
Honestly Jen, I never know what to expect when I click on your blog, but you always make me laugh out LOUD! I was always so ready for the girls to go back to school... ahhh...sanity. Debra
I am seeing lot's of back to school posts these days! Enjoy your school days and quiet moments of time all for yourself and your creating and tea drinking and meyer lemon cookie thin eating times, LOL!
Oh, yes. I remember when I felt that kind of relief. My ex-m-i-l wanted my youngest to go to private kindergarten but I said NO. It was only half days. Public school was all day!
I'd love to but preschool doesn't start forever and my 2 yr old will still be with me. The tea and cookies look fantastic though so I might snarf some down between errands and diaper changes ;).
No, no, no!!! No school! I hate school!!!!!! Hate the schedule, hate the early mornings, hate the homework...I can go on and on...the funny thing is that my 16 year old Daughter can't wait until school starts in a couple of weeks!!!! Go figure....
I'm with you on that one! I love summer, we have had such fun. But what I love even more is routine and having time to myself!!! One more week for us. Oh, and I keep the permanent markers AND good (sharp) scissors wayyyy up high so the kids can't even reach them! Even hubby doesn't know where to look....
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I read and appreciate every single one! Please leave an e-mail or contact if you have a question, otherwise I have no way to answer you!

ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteYou remind me of the Staples commercial where the happy father is racing down the isles with a cart and the kids are dragging along behind him.
One of my grandsons thought he might just take a year off. (He's in 2nd grade). We told him he could pretty much forget it.
