I am pretty mangy.
I definitely look like I should be driving a mini-van and wearing sweat pants.
I haven't seen the inside of a real salon of over a year.
If I don't so something soon, I know the next step is "mom" jeans and big sweaters.
But you know, inside my own head, I am still pretty cool.
So....I want to get this hair cut and color this Thursday.
So here's the thing,
My hubby reads my blog and reads your comments ( hi honey!).

I never comment here, but I say GO FOR IT! Hair grows back. If you hate it it just gives you an excuse to wear really cute hats for a while!

Just do it! I always let my 3 girls get the haircut they want telling them it will grow back.

I know how you feel, I haven't been to the salon since early January.
We all need a fresh outlook on life, and I think this cut will do that for you (just in time for your show) :)

Get the cut! It's so alt-Posh Spice (in a good way). Might be a lot of upkeep? (That's what ultimately always sways me against "cute" cuts), but I do really like the cut and color. How could you not feel like a sassafras with it?!

Oh Yeah...go for something new and sassy. I just cut my hair too..it is a little too short but I kind of like it and it grows out fast. I say change it. Post before and after pics!
It will make you feel sassy before the big show- do it! Just make sure you bring TONS of pictures of JUST how you want it and go to someone you trust. I am still getting over my last bad one...

it's only hair (our crowning glory) & it'll grow back, if it's not what you were hoping for. (that's what i keep telling myself after having some layers put in mine last month, hah!)

Seriously, your so darn creative.. you need hair that is "creative" as well...I'd go with a streak of pink in it as well-- but hey, thats just me~ I think that cut will suit you beautifully, and it looks like it would grow out cute as well!

The hair cut is cute and stylish. I have naturally curly hair so the straight smooth look on me only lasts until I take 3 steps outside of the salon. I spend four times more on my dog's grooming as I do on myself. How sad is that?

Go for it! If for no other reason so that I can live vicariously through your cute hair (I'm a total hair cut wimp!). The only downside...is if you like it, it looks like a "frequent trips to the salon" type of cut. And I'm lazy like that. :-)
