I have a gap this week in Monday's Women who Create, but we'll be back next week with our regularly scheduled program...

So this Monday, I'll answer your questions.... about anything ( remember though, it is a family show..)... Furniture painting, Etsy, my blog, creativity, writing, why I open my mouth so wide to take a bite of cake.. etc... ask away!
*News break..... I have filled the gap.. but keep your questions coming... I'l answer them Wednesday!*

ReplyDeleteLove this.. I am going to have to narrow down my questions though...hmmmm
ReplyDeleteI love this! Ok, you know I paint furniture....but I always have a problem with the tops of tables after I paint. Say, I am painting an end table or coffee table. After painting and letting it dry for at least a week, I will set a lamp on top. The next week, I move the lamp to dust and there are marks on the table top! So how do you finish the tops of tables so that they are usable?

ReplyDeleteMy grandson who is 2 1/2 eats cake like that. Less chance of missing his mouth I imagine! With things he doesn't like, its like threading yarn through a sewing needle lol

Do you completely sand a piece of furniture before painting or do you use primer? I hate sanding, but get worried that if I don't sand thoroughly, paint will peel off in layers. Thanks!
