Make- over part 2... on chair number 1...

This is the other make-over I wanted to show you yesterday, but my camera was not cooperating!
There were some awesome projects I saw at the party that I want to recap later in the week.

You guys really got a lot done!

This was a $25 yard sale purchase. It was one of two. The paisley came on it, but wasn't my dream fabric and didn't really go with much.

They were also about 2 inches too tall since they were dining room chairs so I did one of these numbers on them.

I debated about painting them a creamy white, but I couldn't decide, so I left them (for now).

When I found this tawny brown fabric, I knew this was the one!
I thought these chairs were going to be an easy staple and wrap job, but oh no... they were a remove a million staples job.

But it turned out so pretty! Now I just need to tackle chair number 2~!

Absolutely gorgeous chairs! What an incredible find. Although I didn't mind it much in the orginal fabric, the one you chose looks terrific.

It really looks great! I'm always so intimidated by recovering chairs that require trim work, but after seeing how lovely yours is I think I might be able to give it a try.

Beautiful and just the kind I'm looking for but can't find around here without paying big bucks, sugar! I'd paint mine white though, but either way they're still beautiful, chickee...

They look awesome! I don't know if I would do a white, but maybe a whitewash. Love the fabric. Such an improvement than the original.

Great find on the chair. Great make-over. I've been to intimidated to reupholster anything. I love the color as it. It goes nice with your color scheme.

BTW, I posted my 7 crazy facts award today.

Great job on your chair! I love to reupholster but removing staples would be my least favourite part of the job!! Reading through the comments from others that are afraid to have a go at recovering furniture...I wish they would just have a go, I'm sure they could do it.

Very pretty, I am going to re-do our dining room chairs and I have never done this before so I'm a little nervous. Hope mine looks as good as yours.

I love the new fabric and I actually really like the current wood finish. Also, I really love the chest in the corner instead of having an end table pulled up to the side of the sofa. I'm eyeballing my living room now and considering a new furniture arrangement...
