I love this house..
I don't know if you knew this about me,
but I'm a house dreamer.
It's not that I want humungous, or ginormous... but I would love another 1,000 square feet on top of our 1,250.
I dream about moving into something like this with charm and character, or attacking our house and pulling down this wall and putting in a window here, or a built-in there.
Or a whole darn second level.
I know it makes my poor honey crazy because I talk about it on a continual basis, almost obsessively..
and I know it makes him want to pull the hair he has left out ( Okay, I am just kidding dear, my hubby has wonderfully thick hair, but I know he's a good husband and a loyal reader and I couldn't help myself. :) ).
If this is your house I am sorry I took the picture with out asking.
Through my car window.
After I made sure you left.
But it's so darn cute!
And has an awesome little coach house in the back that would be perfect for my studio.
In a heated room.
a girl can't help but dream, can she?

It is a very cute house:D
ReplyDeleteOk, I am soooo glad to know I am not the only one! I delivered some furniture the other day to Downers Grove, and slammed on the brakes in front of a house I fell in love with! I am positive the neighbors were calling the police...there I was taking pictures of the house like I had permission...Please! Like I need permission! I drive my husband crazy with this stuff. He thinks I should become a realtor for the mere fact it would give me my "house fix". Not a bad idea, actually! ;o) ~mary~
ReplyDeleteYou would love down town Colorado Springs Jen. We have hundreds of those beautiful little houses here. I was laughing quite loudly when I read the part about you taking pictures...after the owners left. The houses are darn cute and so are YOU!
ReplyDeletebeing a dreamer is soooo fun - just LOVE thinking about our little home possibilities, too!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I dream incessantly about it. Now, if only we had a rich uncle we didn't know about........
either way - it all can happen in our dreams!
I love driving through neighborhoods looking at houses & landscaping. I guess you could call me a house dreamer, too. :) This one definitely would have caught my eye. It has great curb appeal and lots of character.
ReplyDeleteLooks like home! I love it.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Rhonda
You house stalker picture taker! LOL great home, what character and charm..lulu
ReplyDeleteIt is a very cute house but it needs a cute color on it. Something to cheer it up. That color is too drab. I have been known to go up to the cute houses and act like I am lost and need direction. This gets you a sneak peek when they open the door!
ReplyDeleteNow that IS a cute house.
ReplyDeleteoh, I'm right there with you girl ... I can envision myself almost any where creative ... can see the whole thing finished in my head ... this is a sickness
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable house! A nice size, but it still look cozy.
ReplyDeleteWe have about 1450 sq. feet, and I, too, would kill for another 500-1000 feet. Or even just a basement (there are very few basements here on the swampy coast of Virginia.) Maybe someday!
I'm a house stalker too, I'll dream of what the inside is like and decorate it over and over in my mind. It's just normal for us gals who loves decorating to dream about it!
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute house and I think I like the back even more than the front.
Sweet dreams.
It's adorable Jen!! Nothing wrong with dreaming a little :)
ReplyDeleteSend me a paypal invoice for the blog get together, I'm in!! Or, I can bring you a check on Fri if you'd rather...
See you soon ~
:) T
I too love this house and when I use this cut thru to go to Target I stop and look too! Not that I take pictures like you but I just stare! I love walking thru the neighborhoods and just looking in windows at decor - does that mean I am a stalker too???!!!
ReplyDeleteIs that what happened to my husbands hair?lol.. I love to look at houses and dream. I also just would love to go inside the houses too. But that never happens. loll. mishelle
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh I love to dream about houses too. We live in a neighborhood with all these wonderful houses full of charm. I love my house too. It reminds me of a little gingerbread house. I dream all of the time about what I can do to this house. I love taking walks through our neighborhood (or driving) at dusk when people still have their curtains open and I can get a little glimpse into their home. My daughter laughs at me all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love dreaming of homes too. The one you are loving is soooo charming!!!
ReplyDeletexo,

Yes, I do the same thing.... I even went as far as sending someone I didnt even know a letter telling him I wanted to buy his old almost falling down house. Years later he passed away and when his sister was going through his things she found my letter and called me! By this time we had a little one and could not take on such a project.
ReplyDeletelol, you're so funny. :) And I agree, that house is simply adorable!
