Bird's eye view...

I am sorry I didn't clean for you, but it was a rough day, and I know stuff is everywhere. The kids have officially gone clinically insane and I've been working on stuff or the Nada Farm show. Let me just tell you, you're lucky there's no dirty underwear.
So here's a quick pic...
I had a lot of good feedback about the end table,
and a lot of requests for a view of the full room.
...And I am happy to oblige!

So here you are.
There's that darn end table on the right.... Don't you think it looks completely swallowed and like it's sitting in a black hole?

(Oh, and I know that little picture looks odd on the wall. I stuck it on there like a dummyhead with adhesive tabs "just to see what it looked like" and can't get it off... not without of course ripping off the paint, but I, of course, can't find my touch up can.).

I think painting is in order even though I love the wood ( not that I have the time, but it's bugging me, you know.).. so now the question is... aged cream or aged green?? What do you think??

It is beautiful and a very serene room...hard to see there was any chaos. ;) If it were me...I would do the aged green...I think it will add a pop of color and of course whimsy. You can add some things around the room in little bits of that color too to give balance. If you do the cream it will look great too. Good luck on your show, I am sure everyone will love your designs!!

Hugs,
Victoria

Hi Jen:
Now that you've decided to paint it, I vote for aged cream. Can't wait to see what you choose and how it looks!

Hi Jen,
As I have commented before, I just love your style. You are absolutely right, the table doesn't really show up the way it should. I am thinking the cream would be great but you have a crwam colored wooden piece on the other side and I know you are not a matchy matchy person so the green color might be kind of interesting. Whatever color you choose will look great just like every thing you do!

Green, green, green! When the sun comes up and my kid and my dog move far enough from my bed that I can get out of it without risking tearing my other rotator cuff climbing over their nest of pillows and blankets I'll post a photo of two I've done. (The kid is bigger than Whisper).

Aged cream. OMG! I wish my rooms looked that much of a disaster! I could show you a disaster. The other day I sat on the couch and found a pizza crust between the cushions!

I just love the wood...but I think green would be fun.

What if you just slip covered the top in cream linen with a scalloped edge and made a matching scarf for the bottom tier? I really love the wood :)

You can remove those adhesive tabs by shooting your hairdyer at it and using a razor blade to slowly lift it up off the wall as the sticky part loosens up. Been there. Done that. Totally works.

The aged green. You don't want everything too matchy-matchy.

Green. I think it would keep it special instead of just blending.

I love both colors but I would lean toward the green.
