While mulling over the side table color drama; I sat my bottom, feet up on the sofa, and took pictures of my kitchen nook, playing with my camera settings.
Focus far away.
Focus close up.
Flash on auto.
No flash, aperture-y ( A ) setting thing.
And then realized my photos look best cropped.

ReplyDeleteI don't know why we can't just point and shoot and have the most fabulous professional looking photos - would make life so simple.
I love playing around with my camera like this - the best way to learn :-)
ReplyDeleteAm really at a loss as to what to do with the interior of this ugly house we have bought. Thinking aloud here - you up for a round the world, renovation advice project if I send you lots of pics???
Will give you time to have a wine and mull that one over! :-)
Cheers,
Cate

ReplyDeleteHi. Could I get some help from you please? I just stumbled across this post and am very interested how you would shoot something and have the farthest thing in focus and then vice versa like you showed. I have a Nikon D60 and I'm sure it would do something like that. But how? Thanks :)
