No S'more summer...

Back to school...
I would love to be able to say I am sad about it, but  I am starting to yearn for the routine of every day and to see what new adventures autumn brings.
As one last celebration, we decided to brave the mosquitoes. We had a mini-campfire with the kids and made yummy s'mores.

Happy back to school!

  1. Yum! I love making s'mores. Looks like you all enjoyed yourselves. :) I wish we had a little fire pit so we could do this. My kids don't start school until the 7th so we still have a little time, I may be able to pull this off.

  3. I LOVE smores and for some reason, this summer didn't bring about any opportunity for camping. We're not really huge fans of camping when it's busy, but still... usually we manage to find a weekend somewhere.

Enjoy your routine! I'm soooooooo looking forward to the Fall!

  4. I'm pleased about autumn starting, but not school. Oh the papers, notes, assignments, and demands. Ugh. We'll be doing s'mores next weekend. This weekend was spent being sad...school starts tomorrow and Wednesday.

  11. Oh, they do look delicious - I had my first S'more last year while on vacation and I LOVED it! I wasn't near any campfires or BBQ's this year so - no more S'mores! Loved the pics!
