I have to admit it.
I have a bad case of the February funk's.
I am so tired of seeing the cold and the grey and the drab. I don't feeling like doing anything but crawling in bed with the groundhog for another 6 weeks.
I've even noticed in blogland, posting seems down, visits are down and it seems like everyone is waiting.....
I know spring is only a few weeks away, but it seems like forever....
I think maybe we need a party?
Maybe we need to see things in a whole new light?
Let's shake off this February funk and catch some Spring decorating fever.
Let's refresh and rearrange our rooms to give them a whole new look and feel. Pick one room and brighten it. Add pillows, move a couch, swap chairs or drapes from one room to another, change a lampshade! Even if the only thing you buy is some flowers, let's shake off this February Funk and welcome in March.

Oh I'm with ya girl! I can think of a few more choice words beginning with 'f' other than Feb Funk! (sorry!). Great idea for the party - I'll be joining in for sure. Time to grab those paint charts and drop cloths....tally ho!!!
that's a great idea-the warm weather over the weekend prompted me to put away all my snow decor...but this morning we had a work delay b/c of snow. this weather is so weird!
Oh I so hear you....I am done with winter!!! Sounds like fun but we might be in the middle of another reno project by then(Jess's room)no big thrill I'm afraid,how much fun can a 22 year old guys room be!!! x0x0x
Guess what girls? Only 6 more days until March! In my book, winter is OVER, I don't care what it is doing outside, I am taking down the snowmen and putting up gentle greens, birds and nests! Celebrate the end of Winter...can't wait!

I'm actually a winter girl myself, which is a good thing since Spring doesn't usually hit my area of Maine until well into April. I am looking forward to seeing all the cheerful Spring decorating on everyone's blogs however!
