Good morning....

I woke up this morning and it was BEAUTIFUL out! The sun was shining, It was about 70 degrees with a mild breeze. It was the kind of morning that made me feel blessed. I think sometimes I get so caught up in what's going on, what I need to do and what I haven't done, that I forget to just be. It's so much easier to worry about money and time and others and realize that sometimes I just need to let it all go and give myself permission to enjoy.
This was the morning I could do that; I stood outside with my eyes closed feeling the weather, listening. It was only  a minute, but the peace made me feel so rested and motivated. So, my pajama's and I walked around and took some pictures, just lived in the moment and enjoyed the way life felt. Right now.

Give yourself permission today to have  a break from your stress. Even if it's two minutes on your front step, or the walk from your car to work. You deserve it.

What a wonderful way to start a day. We are having such an usual spring, it hasn't been warm enough to be inviting early in the day. I love the picture of your dog, what a sweetheart. Thanks for the great garden tour.

Love you doggie pic...so cute! I am jealous of your weather..after living in TX for twenty years, I am now in Oregon-and the spring is yet to arrive. We are ( supposedly, lol) 15 degrees BELOW normal-and haven't had a 70 degree day yet :(

I miss my big ole TX garden, and my annuals that would be in full swing by now-but this place is a new challenge, and I am sure I'll be able to take my seedlings out of the cold frame...SOON?

Thanks for making me take time to appreciate what is right before me-even if it is different.
