I woke up this morning and it was BEAUTIFUL out! The sun was shining, It was about 70 degrees with a mild breeze. It was the kind of morning that made me feel blessed. I think sometimes I get so caught up in what's going on, what I need to do and what I haven't done, that I forget to just be. It's so much easier to worry about money and time and others and realize that sometimes I just need to let it all go and give myself permission to enjoy.
This was the morning I could do that; I stood outside with my eyes closed feeling the weather, listening. It was only a minute, but the peace made me feel so rested and motivated. So, my pajama's and I walked around and took some pictures, just lived in the moment and enjoyed the way life felt. Right now.
Give yourself permission today to have a break from your stress. Even if it's two minutes on your front step, or the walk from your car to work. You deserve it.
Is there anything better than sitting in your jammies in your garden on a sunny morning?! I think not :)

ReplyDeleteLove you doggie pic...so cute! I am jealous of your weather..after living in TX for twenty years, I am now in Oregon-and the spring is yet to arrive. We are ( supposedly, lol) 15 degrees BELOW normal-and haven't had a 70 degree day yet :(
ReplyDeleteI miss my big ole TX garden, and my annuals that would be in full swing by now-but this place is a new challenge, and I am sure I'll be able to take my seedlings out of the cold frame...SOON?
