Whimsy and Ruby Begonia’s Shop Retail Display

When I went to the 3 French Hens Market on Saturday, we also walked around downtown Morris. It is only about 40 minutes from me, but I had never been out that way. I have to admit, living in the western suburbs of Chicago my whole life,  I never though of it as a great place to shop and hang out and had had no desire to go.  We’ll I learn something new everyday! What  a great, little canal town! Quaint is the perfect word for it. It had a ton of character and there are a bunch of really cool shops. With the Market, you could definitely spend a day there shopping and looking. If I had more time, I wanted to drive around and take pictures of the houses. I might have to think about finding me a farm out that way to settle on after we retire. It had such a great, historic vibe. Around the downtown area all of the homes had that late 1800 early, 1900 feeling and architecture. That may have to be another trip for me and another post. 🙂 Two of my favorite stores are Whimsy and Ruby Begonia’s Shop Retail Display.
Chalkboard with a touch of whimsy: handwritten message reads, "Stop by our shop Ruby Begonias 114 W. Washington." Discover charming finds at Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display!.

These two stores are so amazing! Just walking in the doors gives me a sense of peace. I am so excited to share them with you!
At Ruby Begonia’s there is so much to look at and there were such beautiful displays such as this cluster of clock and black and white typography.

Two antique clocks, one round and one square, add whimsy to Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display, accompanied by glass vases, a mug labeled "8," and a dried flower in front of them.

These necklaces are so cleverly displayed hung over a glass cloche. Next to the  handmade art doll it’s so pretty together.

I loved this collection of handmade items. All of the displays like this vintage hand with rings really told a story.

A decorative lamp, colorful box, ceramic hand jewelry holder, and Paris-themed pillow from Whimsy and Ruby Begonia's Shop Retail Display sit on a vintage cream dresser and nightstand in a cozy, softly lit room.
All of her clothes were so beautiful and had such an artistic touch to them like this gorgeous rosette top.
A cream-colored coat with ruffled collar and floral fabric appliqués, brimming with whimsy, is displayed on a dress form in a vintage-themed room—an enchanting scene from Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display.

Such cute tops with fringe and ruffles on the sleeves. They all had a romantic feel.

A sleeveless beige dress with eyelet details and a ruffled skirt hangs on Whimsy and Ruby Begonia's Shop Retail Display, beside a brown dress and a beaded necklace in the boutique.

I adore her clothing!  There were a lot of thing’s I drooled over and wanted to take home. The way she had them hung and displayed were so pretty too. And there were all of these little vintage touches scattered through the store as well.

The Whimsy  store is a few steps down.
A beige sign with black script reads, "Whimsy fancy goods & fine events," adding charm to Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display, and is mounted on a white wall.

Whimsy has a romantic feel with soft textures and lots of vintage feel.

Everything feels so calm and romantic with birds and lots of typography. Her store displays have a calming feel to them.

A white ceramic bird figurine and a decorative candle sit on a round, gray pedestal with a lace tablecloth underneath, adding a touch of whimsy to Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display.
Her stuff was right up my alley, And I just love Traci and there was so much to look at.
A group of objects on a table brings whimsy to Ruby Begonia's Shop retail display.

Even her fun 4th of July displays have sweet touches, and things you can’t find anywhere else, like these fun 4th of July prim battery operated candles.

Two decorative clock faces with different designs add whimsy to the shredded paper and twine in Ruby Begonia's Shop Retail Display. Neither clock features a frame or visible hands, enhancing their unique charm.
Of course the vintage clock faces layered together really looked amazing and I loved all of the creative display ideas. And everything was displayed in these awesome vignette’s. It’s so worth the trip there, it feels so creative and inspiring!
A vintage display at Whimsy and Ruby Begonia's Shop features a lace-draped suitcase, a beaded necklace on a vase, a black decorative glove, and a small black pot on a white shelf.

I love how she added these paper flowers to her wall. They are made from coffee filters and are so sweet!

Three large, beige paper flowers with textured petals are attached to a wall in Whimsy and Ruby Begonia's Shop Retail Display, surrounded by vintage cards, wire, and neutral-toned decor items for a charming touch.

It’s worth a visit to check out their inspiring and creative shop displays and to see all of their beautiful goods!
