Good morning....

I woke up this morning and it was BEAUTIFUL out! The sun was shining, It was about 70 degrees with a mild breeze. It was the kind of morning that made me feel blessed. I think sometimes I get so caught up in what's going on, what I need to do and what I haven't done, that I forget to just be. It's so much easier to worry about money and time and others and realize that sometimes I just need to let it all go and give myself permission to enjoy.
This was the morning I could do that; I stood outside with my eyes closed feeling the weather, listening. It was only  a minute, but the peace made me feel so rested and motivated. So, my pajama's and I walked around and took some pictures, just lived in the moment and enjoyed the way life felt. Right now.

Give yourself permission today to have  a break from your stress. Even if it's two minutes on your front step, or the walk from your car to work. You deserve it.

I love this song...

How could I not? ;)
It's I dream of Chicago by the Parlours.
I moved my music player up a bit on the left so you could turn it off if you want to watch the video.

Have  a great weekend!

Special guests...

I was honored the Monday after the sale to have Fifi and Mark here to shoot my house for various publications.

It was the coolest experience and I can't wait to see how the pictures came out. They are two of the sweetest people and they made it so easy. Mark's photography is amazing. Every picture is gorgeous and he is the nicest guy ever.
When I started blogging, I always wanted to have chances like this, but I never really believed it would happen. Monday was a dream for me.
It was such a fun, long day. I had made some raspberry mini-muffins that we could snack on and we chatted and drank coffee as we moved through the house. Fifi's eye is amazing. The same things I've looked at a hundred times; she arranged in an entirely new and fresh way.
The only thing I will tell you about having your house shot... they go in every room. There is no hiding your dirty, little secrets. So, if you have  a hoarder's room like I do, where you shove everything you want out of the way when people come over to shoot your house, it's only going to be a little embarrassing when they open the door and the room looks like you should be on an A and E special and in therapy.

I can't show you exactly what she and Mark took; but I can give you sneak peeks from the day. Except for the hoarder's room, the rest of my house was clean... ( the garage doesn't count. ;)  )

Thanks Mark and Fifi for a great day!

Nada Farm Sale part two....Paparazzi....

It was so exciting when the gates opened at 5 and everyone came in.

Yes, Mark was the owner of the barely street-legal vehicle, but he's so sweet, and his stuff is so cool, we'll forgive him :)

There he is again with all of his cuteness, and could Traci of Whimsy be any more gorgeous? Their booth was amazing and filled with awesome goodies!
I call picture T3.  Traci, Traci and Tracey. I felt like I was in a mall when someone yells "Mom!" and all of the ladies turn around. They all look like supermodels. Tracey is wearing one of Jeanne's originals.

Jeanine from Chippy Shabby is just an incredible person and so talented.

The lovely Beth Quinn, Jeanne Oliver and I at the hotel before we went over for the sale on Boho Ball night.

Jeanne, looking like a greek goddess. Let me warn you though, this super-talented girl has a dark side ;) Don't let her sunny blonde looks fool you. You can read about Thursday night when she and Beth spent the night at my house here. She admits she took complete responsibility.
I am totally innocent.... kind of ;)
Let's just say Friday morning was a bit rough and leave it at that.

Paparazzi and thier cameras. Who could expect anything else from a bunch of bloggers???

Gorgeous Denise from Denise's Adornments wearing one of my original skirts and vintage boots. Her booth was fabulous.

And all of us just hanging out at the bloggers tent.

I am bummed I never got any pictures of vendors Polly, Jill, or Hot house Market, or Anne Marie.
I still have some more pictures to come, and my news from a busy, wonderful Monday...

It was an amazing, crazy weekend and  I am still not recovered. :) It was wonderful to meet everyone, and I loved seeing every one of you that came out.
I still have hundreds of pictures to go through and edit, but I wanted to show you  a bit of the sale. I also have to tell you later this week about the very special guests I had over at my house yesterday. :)
