Are you ready to refresh your rooms???

Mark you calender for the second Annual Refresh your Room Party!!!!
Monday, February 6th

We did this party last year and it was  a blast.

It's all about shaking off the winter blah's, putting away the holiday decor and giving everything a fresh new look! It doesn't have to be expensive, shop your home first. Move lamps or pillows, add flowers, change up the furniture arrangement like I did here in my living room from last year. I have the new mantel in there this year, so I can change it up even more!

Before

After
I didn't buy anything except the flowers. Everything was from either another room or something I had shoved in a dark closet. Scrounge your basements and attics. You never know what you might find to refresh you room!

Last year we did it in March; but I am feeling an itch to pull out some paint cans and recover some pillows. Are you ready to make comes changes now that the decorations are down?

My house looks so naked since I took down the Christmas stuff. I may have to pull some stuff from a store. LOL!
Can't wait!

I have been doing the same thing. I love change, especially in the Winter when we are inside more and the days are shorter. Love what you did with your room. Very pretty:)

I'm looking forward to this. I've been itching to paint and something new to house. Hopefully I can get it done in time to share in your party.

Love your "after", Jennifer! I've got to still put my Christmas stuff away, which will be done by the weekend. I'm sure I'll be looking to get some things done around here that were just waiting for the holidays to pass.

Your room looks fantastic...I love the mirror above the sofa!

I am ready to jazz things up, too. It was nice to say goodbye to all of the red and green. Now I want some soft colors and pretty flowers!!

Jane

Just in time! I need to rearrange my front room and paint a few pieces. A good time to try some Anne Sloan paint, now what color.

i got the itch as i was taking down the tree. as i type, my dining room is stripped and ready for a fresh coat of paint and a new look. i'm buying nothing new, shopping my house for everything. once the dining room and kitchen are done i'll move on to the next room til the whole house is done. my eye needs a change now and then though my family thinks i'm nuts!

hugs,

shelley

I'm there! Can't wait.
I'm taking a deep breath and enjoying the space that was under all that Christmas weight.
But I'm also feeling the restyle itch. This will result in my youngest saying "You didn't work today did you Mom?" Poor kid comes home from school to a sorta familiar but definitely different room. I figure the family can adapt to my harmless addiction. Plus her friend's moms tell me their daughters thinks our house is "so cool." Sweet validation!
Be well,
Lynn

I am always loving your parties like this! I miss the ones you used to host once a month. They really got me off my duff to do something! Love the refresh you did on your living room. Course, it looked awesome before though!

I'm in the process of redoing my living room. If I get it done in time I will definitely share...but I refuse to show the before. It is so embarrassing! Your before and after both look so great!
