Ready to paint and get the look....

The wood slats went up for the board and batten this weekend!
Sorry for the bad picture. It was a quick snap.
I picked up the paint this weekend,  BM White Dove for the bottom and Martha Stewart's Dolphin Grey for the top.
I hope to get it painted by next Monday to show you the finished product! In my head these projects always go faster than they do in real life... and  I really need to pick up some new light bulbs.

You can see me at my friend, Jeanne's, for her get the look series today wearing one of her cute creations.

  1. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Projects like these almost always take longer than expected.

  7. I am so excited for you- this is going to be AWESOME when completed - going to be a hot Big Reveal - whoo hoo!!!

Good luck, home improvement projects are bitter sweet at best. Keep thinking about the end, and get through it.

    Yay!!

  8. Could you imagine if you had it all done and forgot to replace the light bulb, Jen!?! Oh my gosh, get them right away! Many a picture and project reveal has been delayed due to some trivial matter like this. It's looking good though. You can always begin to see the transformation once you have things like the board and batten in place ~ even before painting.
