Monday morning catch-up...

It was a great weekend at Kane! It was so great to talk to everyone who came out and to meet new friends. It always makes my day when people tell me they came to the flea just to meet me and see my things. You guys are such a great support!
I finally beat the cold by buying a warming heat mat on-line for my feet. I also plan on using it when I paint in my garage and for a few more shows like the Three French Hens  Nov 16th and 17th. And when I am back at Kane next April.
Can you believe it is already November? Where did the time go? I have had  a lot of questions about my winter line. It's coming. I have hats and other goodies coming soon! You know how sometimes life moves faster than you do? That's where I am at.
Mark's Pop-up shop is coming up too. If you are near the Naperville area, there will be some great shopping! I'll be all over the wine and sweets, so you might have to elbow me out of the way.

And I am still thinking about everyone on the East coast.
You can also participate in Socks for Sandy

This amazing blogger who lives on the east coast had an idea.
Socks for Sandy.
Members of the Hometalk community are rallying behind this effort. We would love a fast turn around time.

People are cold and without heat and now there is another huge storm that is supposed to come through. We're focusing on providing warm socks, gloves and winter hats to those who need it most right now.

Please help by collecting socks, gloves and winter hats - for men, women and children of all ages - and sending them to:

Socks for Sandy
P.O. Box 520
Little Egg Harbor, NJ  08087

Please mail by Friday, November 9, since the need is urgent.

Laura  at Pet Scribbles will be collecting these for immediate distrubtion. Any extra will be taken to local shelters.
What is on your heart and mind this week?

  1. Life is definitely moving faster than I am right now. I didn't get a chance to stop by and say hello this time. I was too busy in my booth, and I still have to make it to Mark's shop. Glad you had a great show. Sandy victims are still in my prayers.

  2. Hi Jen,
I posted about my great little treasure of theater seating I scored from you at the flea this past week end. Love these so much. I can't wait to decorate them up cute for Christmas. Check them out.

  3. Oh man, Jen! I am so bummed I missed you yesterday at Kane! I was going to go with my mother and father in law but I was a wuss and didn't want to deal with the recent downturn of the temps. However, it turned out to be a pretty decent day out, weather wise. I heard a lot of great stories of all the goodies there. Looks like I'll have to wait until April to go back. But hopefully there'll be more workshops between now and then! Thanks for always being an inspiriation to me!
